How to Copy a Files Path into the Clipboard

There has a method if you want to copy the full path of any file or folder to the clipboard, but without installing any 3rd party utilities or making nothing any changes to your operating system registry you also can copy the full path to the clipboard, here is the tips for you:

Firstly open the Windows Explorer and navigate to the file or folder whose path you want to copy into the clipboard. Once you’re there press and hold the “Shift” key and also right click on the file or folder icon. Because, the shift key is down, the contextual menu will have a new item that says “copy as path”- select that and the full location of the folder will be saved to your clipboard from where you can paste it anywhere including the DOS window.

You also can use this tips to copy a file’s location from all places including those appearing in the desktop search results. This tips works in windows Vista and Windows 7 but not in Windows XP.
