Today I will introduce you a free screen capture tool that is ShareX, it is a free and open sources screen capturing tool for windows so loaded with features that it may give you even a commercial screen capture programs for their money. This tool is portable too so, you may run it on your USB drives without any installation.

ShareX has all necessary features that would expect in a screen capturing tool. It lets you to capture fixed areas on the screen, full application windows or even free hand regions. There is also a built-in-editor that will help you annotate screenshot images. You can also create a watermarks and they are auto-added to the image after the screen capture is complete.

You can configure the apps to auto upload your screen captures to cloud destination like Google drive, Dropbox, Picasa, Fickr, Imgur and/or many-more. When the image is uploaded, the shared URL is copied to your clipboard for quick sharing on social networks. There is a useful timer mode that will auto capture screen shots of the selected region on your desktop after 'n' seconds and definitely upload them to your favorite destination. ShareX has also include screen recorder and the screen cuts can be either saved as video mp4 format or as animated  GIFs format. You can modify the default capture frame rate-FPS to achieve a balance between the video file size.
